A New Beer in the Making

Brian and I have decided to brew our own beer. We were going to do the whole "wine" thing with Craig. BUT- since we drink WAY more beer than wine - we figured why not try, right? So, today we are going out to buy all the appropriate materials - barley, hops, kegs....whatever. Can't wait to try our creation. Perhaps we will bottle it and make MILLIONS!! Oh wait - keep forgetting that I don't know the first thing about making or bottling beer - so there goes that theory.

Tonight we are going to celebrate Brian's birthday LEONARD Style. Lots of people and lots of eating. We are going out to dinner and I can't wait. Brian hates birthdays but I LOVE them. Have to sneak off at some point and buy him a present...But what to get him?!? I always go for clothes.

That's it - besides what to call the beer of the year. Still thinking on that one.

My 100th post!

So I haven't been on the blog scene in a while! But - I'm back. I know how all of you must have missed it. And by all of you - I mean Maria and Brian. Ok, yes I do speak to them everyday - but they enjoy it. Who can blame them -its fascinating.

This is my 100th post. Wow. I never really have much to say on these - I usually post a video or a survey. But, for now, I will talk about my cell phone. I recently lost my cell phone (new years eve) - I don't use it all that often but it really threw me for a loop. I guess you never really know how much you really depend on something until its gone. I know it sounds a little pathetic because its a phone. I have to tell you, the whole time I was driving without it - I kept thinking that I was going to break down or get a flat or worse. How could I get in touch with someone? Or what if I was late for school and didn't get a call into the office on time. With my luck, no one would stop and I would have been stuck out there for ages...this is the way my brain works. sick.

just rambling on and on....

One a side note, new years eve was great! I got some quality time in with family (yea for kevin) and friends. I even got some german lessons. I also got my phone back. life is back to normal

Best Week Ever on Lance Bass

errr..maybe I should re-word that last statement. Anyway, celebrity physics just for fun!

LOVE HER!!

John Tucker Must...

Come home with me?

Just saw the movie, John Tucker Must Die, last night. I LOVED IT!! I am all for teen angst and this movie had it all. Jesse Metcalfe...ummm, hot! He plays the guy that everybody loves to hate - the player. Brittnay Snow who I love from American Dreams plays the main role as the invisible girl turned popular set out to break John's heart.

It was really adorable and the first movie that I have been actually wanting to see in the movie theater for quite some time! I thought that it was entertaining and funny. Not that I would recommend it for the peeps that I hang with, but it had guilty pleasure written all over it. I'll just throw in a picture so that everyone can truly appreciate the beauty that is Jesse.

Sorry it took so long!

So, its been like forever since my last post. Truth is...I've just forgotten about it. But, I'm back at least for now. Ok the topic that I would now like to discuss is about my beloved NSYNC. Lance Bass = Gay? When I was in college I loved NSYNC. I must have seen them in concert 4 times (which might not seem like a lot ~ but at the time, it was).

Justin will always remain my favorite, but I have to say I was a little surprised by this news. Good for Lance- we're here, we're queer, yada yada. However, if Justin admits to being gay, I just don't know what I would do. Luckily I think there is little chance of that with him dating Cameron Diaz and all.

That's it.
Random thoughts by me!

Relay for Life!

Tonight is Relay for Life! So far, Southern Saratoga County has raised over $35,000 for cancer research. Forecast calls for rain ~ but hopefully it will hold off until tomorrow. Our little team raised just about $1500! That's really good considering we only have about 20 members.

Think of me tonight walking the track over and over again! It should be a lot of fun ~ but very tiring too!

Go Team Orenda!!
